The Perpetual Hunger
This body of work consists of two solo exhibitions at the 2020 and 2022 SPRING/BREAK Art Show and one two-person show in the 2023 edition. It inhabits the now, but the long duration now that encompasses the birth of capitalism and visualizes the chaotic future with screaming colors and impulsive forms, as an instance of cultural pessimism that erodes through cathartic externalization of vigorous images.
